'Lintori' Vermentino di Sardegna DOC Capichera 2022

Vermentino di Sardegna DOC "Lintòri" is considered a real symbol of the production of the Capichera winery, both for its longevity and for its quality: the latter is in fact considered by wine experts to be above average. The company is located in the Gallura area, famous for the winemaking tradition of which it is the spokesperson and in particular for the cultivation of the native Vermentino vine. The colour, taste and flavor of the white in question largely depend on a peculiarity of the soils of the place of production, which are granite and therefore basically acidic. Vermentino di Sardegna DOC "Lintòri" wine with a fruity bouquet and medium and rich body is obtained from the aforementioned 100% Vermentino vine. The product is aged in steel for a few months and can be subjected to an aging process in the bottle for up to 20 or 25 years, without this affecting its structure in the slightest. An interesting curiosity concerns the name of this wine from the Capichera winery: Lintòri is a term which in Gallura means "morning dew".
