The Straniero Rosso Bio Toscana IGT is a fragrant red wine made by the Val Delle Corti winery. This label is obtained from a blend that mainly includes the autochthonous Sangiovese vine and the international Merlot. On the vineyards located 450 meters above sea level, the vines sink their roots into a marly-limestone substrate, with a good percentage of gravel. The north-east exposure and organic cultivation favor the development of the vine. Once ripe, the bunches are carefully selected by hand for transport to the cellar. Here the spontaneous fermentation takes place in large steel tanks. The aging lasts a year and a half and always takes place in stainless steel vats. The wine rests for a month in the bottle after bottling. Excellent immediately, Lo Straniero Rosso Bio Toscana IGT can reserve pleasant surprises even after 4-5 years of careful storage in the cellar.
