'Ludwig' Pinot Noir Alto Adige DOC Walch Elena 2019

The Pinot Noir Ludwig from the Elena Walch winery is a soft and elegant red wine, which represents one of the wine excellences of South Tyrol. The grapes that give rise to this wine are exclusively Pinot Noir grown in the company's territories, just south of Bolzano, at an altitude ranging from 400 to 580 meters above sea level and with exposure to west and east . The bunches are grown with extreme care and harvested by hand. Only the best grapes are selected and fermented in both wooden and steel barrels. Finally, after 17 months of aging in barrique, a ruby red wine is obtained which expresses its flavors to the fullest, thanks to a perfect combination of its subtle tannins, spicy scents and balanced minerality.
