Lugana DOC 'San Benedetto' Zenato 2022

Lugana DOC San Benedetto is a crisp white wine produced by the Veronese winery Zenato . The label is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Trebbiano grapes, a white berried variety known locally under the name Turbiana. The plots are located near Lake Garda, in a natural context that stands out for its mild microclimate which is favorable to viticulture. On the clayey and chalky substratum the vines sink their roots finding the ideal nourishment up until the strictly hand-held harvest. Upon arrival in the cellar, the grapes are destemmed and gently pressed. This is followed by alcoholic fermentation which takes place in large steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The refinement also takes place in steel tanks, where the wine rests for about 4-5 months. Lugana DOC San Benedetto is a wine designed to be appreciated shortly after bottling in order to savor all its savory freshness.
