Lugana DOC Villa Della Torre 2019

Lugana DOC is a light and fragrant white wine, produced by the Venetian winery Villa Della Torre . It is obtained from the vinification of Trebbiano grapes, a white grape variety locally called Turbiana. The owned plots are located near Lake Garda, the proximity of which creates the ideal climatic conditions for the growth of the vines. The clayey soil of morainic origin offers the necessary nourishment up to the moment of manual harvesting of the grapes. Only the best bunches are selected for transport to the cellar, where they are then subjected to light pressing. Alcoholic fermentation follows, a phase that occurs spontaneously inside steel vats. In the same containers the wine remains to refine for a few months in contact with the lees until bottling. Excellent right from the start, Lugana DOC can evolve further if carefully stored for a couple of years in the cellar.
