Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description

Colli Piacentini DOC Cabernet Sauvignon "Luna Selvatica" is one of the finest wines from the La Tosa winery, located not far from Piacenza and firmly linked to the peasant traditions of the past. It is a refined red with an enveloping, complex body, with a structured and persistent finish. The main vine, as can be seen from the denomination of the product, is Cabernet Sauvignon, originally from France and often used for making long-lived wines. To a small extent, Merlot grapes are also used: both are defined as "international" precisely because they are used all over the world. The La Tosa winery is located in a place favorable to viticulture due to the clayey-calcareous composition of the soil and the correct exposure to the sun's rays. The Colli Piacentini DOC Cabernet Sauvignon "Luna Selvatica" wine is obtained through a fifteen-day maceration of the must in contact with the skins, followed by fermentation and aging in oak barriques. Bottling does not require filtering, an element which gives the wine an even more decisive and intense character.
