'Luzia' Blauburgunder / Pinot Noir AA DOC Kellerei St.Pauls 2020

The Blauburgunder Luzia DOC from the Kellerei St.Pauls winery is a wine produced in South Tyrol. It is born purely from Pinot Noir grapes and is one of the finest red wines, which immediately strikes you for its refinement and elegance as well as for the seductive hints of berries and wild cherries. Soft, fresh, persistent and gentle on the finish, it perfectly accompanies any type of meal. The St. Pauls social winery is located a few kilometers from Bolzano, in the locality of San Paolo, and currently brings together over 200 members who, since 1900, have contributed with their passion to the diffusion of particularly fine local wines throughout the world. The land on which Pinot Noir grows is suitable for these grapes to express all their character and the microclimate helps to develop particular organoleptic characteristics which, then, give the wines a high quality. The Blauburgunder Luzia DOC after an initial fermentation in steel undergoes a subsequent refinement partly in large oak barrels and partly in barriques; the result is a wine with a transparent purplish red color, in which it is possible to recognize the typical aromas of this territory.
