The Domaine has been managed by the Bedel family for three generations and Vincent Desaubeau, the last heir and current owner, took over the management of the company in 2003, taking over from his mother who had led it since 1979. We are in the Aisne department, right on the eastern border of the Champagne area. The company philosophy is very simple and clear: create wines that reflect the characteristics of the terroir from which the grapes that compose them come from; therefore since 1998, among the first in the region, all production has taken place following the methods and regulations of biodynamic viticulture , in the continuous search for harmony and balance for the vineyard and the wine.
The estate is very small: in the 8.40 hectares of vineyards, divided into various parcels on both banks of the Marne, Vincent grows the three classic Champagne vines: Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir; these vineyards are cultivated without the use of herbicides or chemical fertilizers and the production has obtained the "Bio" Ecocert certification, while the yeasts are absolutely indigenous.
All the Champagnes produced by Vincent have the RM brand, or Récoltant-Manipulan which certifies that the wine is produced by the owners of the vineyards themselves, without the need to purchase grapes or wines produced by third parties. Another sign and guarantee of quality.
