The roots of the Rinaldi wine company date back to the mid-nineteenth century, a time in which Francesco Rinaldi's father, who would later give his name to the company itself, decided to buy a small farmhouse located in the town of Cannubi, one of the most suited for the production of Barolo. Today the Francesco Rinaldi & Figli winery is guided by a strong female determination: it is Paola and Piera, who currently own the company, who have reached the pinnacle of success of this historic Piedmontese winery. The two women immediately showed an inspired entrepreneurial vision and they must be credited with having brought the family name overseas, so much so as to significantly increase its fame and prestige. The ownership of the company vineyards extends for just over ten hectares, which are divided into plots characterized by the fact that they boast optimal microclimatic conditions and truly very fortunate exposure. Precisely by virtue of these two characteristics, Nebbiolo in particular, but at the same time also Barbera and Dolcetto can reach very high expressive levels, certainly among the best of the entire denomination. Once they arrive in the cellar, the grapes are treated according to the tradition of the Langhe area. Following vinification, the Barolo is placed inside large oak barrels to proceed with aging. Today the Francesco Rinaldi & Figli winery has also adopted important technological innovations in the winemaking field aimed at improving the production process, always with total respect for natural rhythms and raw materials. The result by the glass is clear: the company's wines are excellent products, capable of best describing their territory of origin.
