Beringer

Beringer's story was born way back in 1868, when Jacob Beringer, attracted by the New World, left his homeland, Germany, to leave for New York. Attracted by California and realizing, among the first, its great potential in terms of wine production, he purchased, together with his brother, some hectares and effectively founded one of the first wineries in the winemaking history of the Napa Valley. From this moment on, the Beringers dedicated themselves body and soul to viticulture. Continuous studies and constant research lead the company to increasingly refine the art of winemaking. Hence the choice to make use of cutting-edge technologies capable of making the most of the finished product. Currently the Beringer company owns more than 2000 hectares of vineyards, located between Napa Valley, Sonoma and Paso Robles, in the county of San Luis Obispo. Led by oenologist Laurie Hook, the Beringer winery offers the general public a range of wines of considerable interest, all the result of a careful choice of grapes which, according to Hook's philosophy, must be of excellent quality. The cellars dug into the rock also affect the quality of the labels offered, which maintain an average constant temperature of around 14 degrees, and are therefore perfect for aging wine. It is no coincidence that the famous flagship wine of the cellar, the Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve Beringer, matures right within these walls. With numerous awards and various recognitions, the Beringer winery, despite being counted among the medium-sized wineries, produces around one hundred million bottles annually, all of high quality. A leading reality in the international wine scene.
