Conte Brandolini D'Adda

Conte Brandolini D'Adda
Information
Region: Friuli Venezia Giulia (Italian wines)
Address: Via Vistorta n. 82 33077 Sacile (PN)

The lands of the Conte Brandolini d'Adda estate are located in the province of Pordenone and to be precise in Sacile. The company can count on approximately 80 hectares of vineyards divided between the Vistorta area, with exclusive cultivation of Merlot, and that of Cordignano, where grapes of different varieties are produced, but all white grapes. The characteristics of the clay soil and the microclimate with breezy and hot summers create the most suitable conditions for making high quality wines, thanks also to organic cultivation which also places particular attention on sustainability. The Vistorta estate is a beautiful thirteenth-century village that came into the possession of the Brandolini d'Adda family as early as the eighteenth century. It is in this elegant and refined context that the work of protecting the centenary Merlot vines present in the area began towards the end of the twentieth century and then continued in the cellars where traditional methods are still used for the production of a wine extraordinary. The intuition of the owners of the estate was to try to reconcile Merlot, a grape of Bordeaux origin, with the Friulian territory, thus creating a perfect combination for a complete and unique wine. Naturally, the company's production also includes interesting labels of native vines, both white and red. Intriguing and high quality wines.
