The history of the Vignobles Aubert winery is the story of an entire family, which sees its origins begin even before the French Revolution. Today the Aubert family can boast six large vineyards, which give life to a very interesting production, in one of the most suitable areas in the world for wine production. Almost all of the Aubert vineyards are located on the right bank of the Garonne river, in the Bordeaux area, and extend across six controlled denomination areas: Côtes de Castillon, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Lalande de Pomerol, Montagne Saint-Emilion, Bordeaux and Bordeaux Superior. Many lands and many castles, accumulated over their two hundred and fifty years of history, carried forward by the care and love for wine. The first châteaux was purchased just before the French Revolution by Joseph Aubert and remains the family's historic seat today. Many others were added to this over the years, including the Château Saint-Hubert, named after the patron saint of hunters, purchased by his grandfather Etienne, a great lover of hunting. Today, two generations of Auberts take care of the family vineyards, some of whom have completed training experiences abroad, such as in South Africa and Canada, to improve their knowledge of winemaking. Among the cultivated vines there are the classics of Bordeaux: Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Among the most successful wines produced there are certainly Château Saint Antoine Bordeaux Supérieur, Château Lagrave-Aubert Castillon côtes de Bordeaux and Château Messile-Aubert Montagne Saint-Emilion.
