The Vistorta estate was born in the village of the same name which dates back to 1200, in the enchanting Friulian countryside. The properties of the company (of the Brandolini nobles) are located on clayey hills, which enjoy a climate of hot but well-ventilated summers: these are the perfect conditions for growing grapes that will produce high quality red wines. In fact, it is no coincidence that the affinities of these products can be found entirely in the production of Medoc and Bordeaux. Starting from the 1980s, the company began a phase of safeguarding all the centenary Merlot vines, thus recovering an important ampelographic heritage. This process is also accompanied by the creation of vineyards with a completely new approach and dedicated to exclusively organic management. To date, the reins of the company have passed to the last heir of the Brandolini dynasty, Brandino, who is standing out for an innovative approach that is at the same time respectful of tradition. To try!
