Eric Heerema owns and operates Nyetimber Winery, located in the heart of England, and successfully produces original English sparkling wines. The company is located in West Sussex, in West Chiltington, where the green chalk-rich soils meet hilly slopes exposed to the sun perfectly for the growth of the property's lush vineyards. Nyetimber sparkling wines are the result of careful and passionate work, guided by a philosophy that considers wine production to be a perfect mix of craftsmanship, art and science. Among the team members, the head winemaker Cherie Spriggs examines each selected bunch and scrupulously follows every step of the production of the sparkling wine, strictly carried out with the Champenoise Method. Rows of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir find the perfect place in the Nyetimber Estate to mature calmly and offer nectars of excellent quality. In the cellar, aging is slow and vinification is careful: the result is represented by excellent wines, characterized by class and elegance, but capable of satisfying the taste of every palate.
