Castello di Rubbia

The company is located in San Michele del Carso and takes its name from the ancient castle of Rubbia. The roots of the district's winemaking tradition date back to the mists of time. Here, during the First World War, the front line ran. Since the end of the nineties, the owner family has dedicated itself to the cultivation of the native Karst varieties: Vitovska, Istrian Malvasia and Teran, adopting the "Simonit & Sirch" method aimed at respecting the balance of the plant and pursuing high quality grapes. An ambitious and stimulating project that has already borne fruit with the production of exceptional and internationally recognized wines.
