The cellars of Poderi Marcarini are housed in an 18th century building, leaning against a medieval tower, which dominates the underlying vineyards of the Barolo valley and the road that climbs from Alba. Today as in the past, the Marcarini family, now in its sixth generation, continues with passion to manage the owned vineyards and to vinify the grapes according to the dictates of the most rigorous Langhe tradition. A story made of choices and effort, technique and passion. In La Morra, in the Langhe, where the vine has dominated unchallenged since time immemorial, the most ancient ritual of the winemaker and cellar man is renewed every day: enclosing the perfection of quality in the wines. The various vineyards, all owned, are looked after with particular care and attention, controlled grassing is practiced in the rows and treatments against vine diseases are carried out exclusively with traditional products. The cultivated varieties are exclusively the most suitable in the area: Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Barbera, Arneis and Moscato Bianco.
