In Treiso, in the homeland of the great Barbaresco, since the 1960s the members of the Pelissero family have dedicated themselves to their passion for their land and for the production of great wines. Three generations have passed since then, but the motto that inspires them is always the same: "Cultivating dreams, harvesting passions". Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto are the grape varieties that cover the majority of the vineyard area, all native and all rooted on gentle and inviting hills, set in a spectacular territory, a UNESCO world heritage site. Yes, this very territory is the source of a unique terroir, thanks to the Tanaro river which waters the fields, to the Alps which overlook to admire the vineyards and to its classic autumn mists, the Langa welcomes and embraces this family and its wine in the best possible way, but, despite the intense bond with traditions, the secret of their success also and above all lies in continuous research and innovative dynamism , first in the vineyard and then in the cellar, which helps them to restore all the affection that the land gives and to make it shine as it deserves. Among the most significant labels, Nebbiolo strikes for its elegant notes, as well as its declination in Barbaresco “Nubiola”, “Tulin” and “Vanotu”; these wines express, with their lively, inviting ruby red and the finesse of the most delicate olfactory notes, all the character and strength of the territory of origin. We then come to the more everyday wines such as the Dolcetto D'Alba “Augenta” and the Barbera “Tulin”, jaunty expressions of the Langa. The Pelissero family is also very involved in the marketing of their wines, managing to produce around 250,000 bottles per year, distributing them in almost fifty countries around the world, thus managing to excite the minds of the most curious and attract the most expert drinkers.
