Château la Croix des Pins is located in the south of France, near Avignon, in an area dedicated to viticulture for centuries, in an area protected by UNESCO , which benefits from the protection of the mountains such as Mont Ventoux and Dentelles de Montmirail. The winery is located in a prestigious and historic building erected in 1550, which was a religious seat at the time . Château la Croix des Pins was one of the first farms in the area to obtain the Organic Certification, in 1998; this exemplifies the owners' love and care for this area. In 2010, Jean-Pierre Valade took over the company and led it with a new, close-knit and experienced team, trying with passion and determination excellence in the production of its wines. For this reason , new vines were planted immediately , with the future objective of having ever higher quality grapes . Furthermore, identify the optimal conditions for the conservation and refinement of the wine, in the cellars of the historic palace are made _ extraordinary rooms with many oak barrels, including new barriques for long aging . With the same criterion, which aims for excellence, the cellar is modernly equipped with the latest generation machinery to carry out the transformation of grapes into wine with quality.
