We are in the heart of the most suitable lands of Verdicchio, between Apiro and Cupramontana: the Felici family has been tending the vineyards of this noble Marche vine for generations with all the passion and care possible. For these small winemakers, the vineyard is the heart of everything and every effort is made to support it, to bring out its personality, the character of one of the most important vines in the world. It is all the result of strictly artisanal work, with manual harvesting and vinification within a few hours. Long and patient work in the cellar, avoiding chemicals and invasive interventions. Only two labels were created: a Cru and a Cuvee. “Il Cantico della Figura” is the company's Cru and comes from the vineyard of the same name, one of the most important of the company. While the Cuvée “Andrea Felici” is the blend of the company's different vineyards. The objective has always been to present high quality wines with characteristics of longevity, typicality and personality, therefore as a result: splendid wines to drink immediately, but equally extraordinary if opened after a few years, when the evolutionary path will have reached its peak. It is certainly the terroir that gives so much quality to this vine with frequent and beneficial air currents, at considerable heights above the sea and with extraordinary temperature variations. Verdicchio is a strong, vigorous vine, with a fairly late maturation, loving well-exposed hilly positions and clay-limestone soils, preferably not very dry. It is truly a recognizable wine, with powerful mineral notes and an almond aftertaste, with a rare ability to sustain, with great results, even long refinements in the bottle. Two wines truly worth trying, even after some time!
