Tenuta Ulisse

Contrary to what normally happens in the world of wine, this winery has a very recent history, in fact it was founded in 2006 , following a very precise and truly ambitious vision and objective on the part of the Ulisse family: the search for absolute quality for every label produced. Thanks to the brothers Luigi and Antonio Ulisse, who in the vineyard and in the cellar act with an entrepreneurial spirit, but also with a lot of passion and love for their territory, Abruzzo . The vineyards have a territorial extension of approximately 65 hectares and are cultivated following the organic regime , this is evidence of the interest and passion for the surrounding environment and the desire to produce healthy, clean wines. Furthermore, the company is mainly oriented towards valorising the native Abruzzo vines; this is facilitated by the family and traditional management of the winery, by choice. Such a vast breadth of cultivation allows us to have and enhance the grapes and wines produced which are so different in terms of exposure, microclimate and soil composition. The true company belief is precisely this: diversity is a wealth that must be protected and valorised, from the vineyard to the bottle. This, of course, does not preclude the use of modern technologies, which are indeed used with measure and experience. The resulting wines have a modern and, at the same time, original style, territorial, but also suited to a so-called "international" taste. The labels are numerous and are organized into various production lines: the "Ulisse" line represents a tribute to the territory and its natives: Montepulciano , Trebbiano , Pecorino , Passerina , and even a very interesting cococciola are the protagonists in a pop version , dynamic, fresh and immediate to drink. The “ Nativae ” line offers more intense, profound, challenging wines with a pulpy Montepulciano and a rich, full and soft Trebbiano. At the high end of the range, called " 10 Harvests ", experimentation is highlighted: these are great local wines, a red and a white, produced by assembling ten different vintages. In short, passion, modernity, environment and tradition: these elements are constantly found in Ulisse labels.
