Marion

The Marion agricultural company was founded in the 80s in Marcellise di San Martino Buon Albergo; we are in the province of Verona, in one of the most suitable areas for wine production. The headquarters of the winery is a Renaissance villa belonging to Count Marioni and dating back to the sixteenth century; the origin of the company name is therefore evident, a clear homage to the previous noble owners. The winery was born from the will and project of Stefano Campedelli, his wife Nicoletta and his brother Marco, who have as their objective the production of high quality wines and the valorisation of the typical terroir of the area, including the local native vines. The company can count on around twenty hectares of property, the vineyards have mostly been transformed with the Guyot system, used in quality viticulture, which gives an excellent qualitative yield. The clayey soil and the mild climate that characterize the area allow the production of excellent, complex and intriguing wines. The vines are those that have always been cultivated in these areas, namely Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara, typical natives of Valpolicella, as well as "international" varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon. Attention to the environment is one of the Campedelli family's priorities, therefore maximum attention is paid to safeguarding the countryside and all phases of wine production. The company can boast excellent wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Valpolicella Superiore, Amarone and Teroldego, produced following tradition, but with the support of modern technology. Wines that respond to the identity of the territory, a reflection of the passion that has animated the Campedelli family for over 40 years.
