Borgo dei Posseri

Borgo dei Posseri is a mountain place, in Trentino, with a long history of hospitality and tradition. Three friends fall in love with it, recover it and enhance it, thus creating a truly special farm, a welcoming place. The friends are Maria Marangoni, Massimo De Alessandri and Martin Mainenti: under Martin's expert guidance, Borgo dei Posseri has managed to establish itself as a reality of excellence in wine production and Maria's passion has allowed the reawakening of the original spirit of hospitality , transforming it into a unique location. The wines reflect the Trentino tradition, the production orientation is to enhance the terroir (morphology, exposure, origin and characteristics of the land, local traditions) in order to create wines with a strong personality and originality, but respectful of the production environment. The vines chosen are: Müller Thurgau, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon, Gewuratraminer, Chardonnay, Merlot, plus other varieties for experimental purposes. The climatic conditions of the place allow the vines to express levels of finesse and persistence of absolute value. It is important to underline the particular attention that the Borgo dei Posseri company places on the use of plant protection products and synthetic chemistry in general. The company consists of a total area of approximately 230 hectares, in which the 21 hectares of vineyards alternate with woods, meadows and pastures. The lands, already used for mountain pastures, have been transformed into vineyards since 2000, following the most modern agronomic techniques and trying to maximize the natural beauty of the area. Great attention was also paid to the selection of young vines that come from the best nurseries in Europe, all with the aim of creating fine wines with a well-defined character. Truly extraordinary, unique wines, which reflect an ambitious project both on an environmental and exquisitely oenological level.
