Orsolani

The history of the Orsolani winery begins at the end of the last century, when Giovanni Orsolani with his wife Domenica returned from America recalled by nostalgia for their homeland. They opened a restaurant "Locanda Aurora" and, while his wife followed the activities in the kitchen, Giovanni worked in the vineyard and in the cellar to produce wine for the customers.

Today the family dedicates itself solely to the production of wines and sparkling wines obtained almost exclusively from our vineyards located in the most classic production areas. The Orsolani winery produces around 150,000 bottles of which more than 90% is represented by Erbaluce, true family love. The winery is a member of the Great Crus of Italy committee, an association that brings together all those entities that, with attention and dedication, enhance their productions and cultivation areas.

The company philosophy is to always improve the quality of the wines while respecting the territory and the characteristics of the vine. Thus, only organic fertilizers and only treatment products with low environmental impact are used, according to EEC regulations.

The vine that best represents the territory is Erbaluce . This grape of Greek origin has found a very particular expressiveness in the area. Thanks to these characteristics, the vine produces structured whites, high-class sparkling wines and dessert wines of undisputed quality.
