Mailly

The origins of the Mailly maison date back to 1929, when a group of winemakers, to face the adversities of the economic crisis, joined together in the Society of Producers of Mailly Champagne, starting a glorious adventure which, cuvée after cuvée, reaches up to we. Today Mailly is synonymous with elegance and refinement, a name of luxury that signs a prestigious production of 'haute couture' bottles.

The winery takes its name from the renowned location in which it is located, chosen for the production of wine since the 13th century: the Grand Cru Mailly Champagne, located in the heart of the Montagne de Reims Natural Park. The lands of the Grand Cru Mailly, owned by 80 associated winemakers, extend for 70 hectares in the village of Mailly Champagne, divided into 480 parcels in which the two noble champagne vines are grown: Chardonnay (mainly) and Pinot Noir. Among these vineyards stands the company, consisting of a glass pavilion designed by Giovanni Pace and equipped with seven underground floors and a 1 km long gallery. In the cellar, the vinification processes are separated for each plot to allow the chef de cave, who perfectly knows the typical characteristics of the soils and grapes of each location, to make the best blends, i.e. the best cuvées, starting from a range of over 60 cuvées different. Once bottled, the wines rest in the gallery 19 meters underground, cool and in absolute silence.

Mailly's signature on the Champagne bottles is a guarantee of excellence and extreme refinement. In fact, these are Champagnes produced with great care and attention and with methods that pursue the highest quality without compromising.
