Boscarelli

Boscarelli, a great producer of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG for half a century, is located in the heart of the Montepulciano area. It was born in 1962, at the behest of Egidio Corradi, a great wine enthusiast and profound lover of his territory. From the union of these passions, the idea of purchasing two small plots of land in Cervognano di Montepulciano that were in a semi-abandoned state germinated. Until that moment the two farms had hosted various annual crops, but only a part of them was cultivated with vines. Egidio's love and passion for the land were supported by his daughter Paola and his son-in-law Ippolito De Ferrari. Two important figures in the history of the Boscarelli company: in fact, thanks to their activities, the Poderi Boscarelli were founded in the 1960s. Today the Boscarelli company is managed by Paola and Ippolito's children, Luca and Nicolò De Ferrari. Both, perfectly in line with the philosophy that inspired their grandfather, meticulously follow the entire production chain, also taking care of reselecting and replanting the vineyards, so that they can constantly express both the scents and the characteristics of the territory that surrounds them. The family has 14 hectares of vineyards, located 300 meters above sea level and facing the Valdichiana.
