Antinori

The Antinori family has been dedicated to wine production for more than six hundred years: since, in 1385, Giovanni di Piero Antinori became part of the Florentine Arte dei Vinattieri. Throughout its long history, through 26 generations, the family has always managed this business directly with innovative and sometimes courageous choices, but always maintaining unchanged respect for traditions and the territory. Today the company is chaired by Albiera Antinori, with the support of the two sisters Allegra and Alessia, personally involved in the company activities. Marquis Piero Antinori is currently the Honorary President of the company. Tradition, passion and intuition were the driving qualities that led Marchesi Antinori to establish themselves as one of the main Italian wine producers and in the world. Every vintage, every terrain, every idea that you want to implement is a new beginning, a new search for ever higher quality margins. As Marquis Piero likes to say: "ancient roots play an important role in our philosophy, but they have never inhibited our innovative spirit". Over time, investments in other areas suited to the production of quality wines both in Italy and abroad were added to the estates of Tuscany and Umbria, the family's historical heritage, where a new path of valorization of new " terroir” with high viticultural potential. Solaia , the flagship of the production, is certainly one of the most appreciated Italian wines in the world , a symbol of a constant search for quality implemented by the Antinori, such as Tignanello , Brunello di Montalcino or Chianti , all of the highest level.
