Louis Latour

T he Maison Louis Latour was founded in 1797 and has remained family-run ever since. Louis Latour is a leading name in the Burgundy wine scene and therefore also worldwide. Today it is led by Louis-Fabrice Latour, committed to safeguarding and carrying forward a prestigious legacy.

The historic 1832 winery is located in Aloxe Corton, the oldest active winery in the entire region; it is designed in such a way that all movement of the product, from the press to the vat, occurs only by gravity. Louis Latour's estates represent the largest Grand Cru estate in the Côte-d'Or, with a total of 28 hectares. Another 30 hectares are scattered throughout the rest of the Côte-d'Or, in the Ardeche and in the Var, constituting one of the largest 'domains' in all of France. Most of the vineyards are gathered around the municipality of Aloxe Corton, the historic seat of the Latour family and home to some of the most appreciated Burgundy wines.

Louis Latour's wines, both white and red, are sought after and appreciated all over the world and often reach dizzying prices. Respect for nature and ancient traditions are the cornerstones of a production philosophy that has as its objective excellence and connection with the territory. Excellence!
