Umani Ronchi

The story of Umani Ronchi begins more than fifty years ago, in Cupramontana, where the heart of classic Verdicchio beats, before exploring numerous other areas of the precious Adriatic land. Today Umani Ronchi is the wine company owned by the Bianchi-Bernetti family, which since 1959 has been producing high quality wines with care and craftsmanship, knowing how to enhance those vines that find their natural and best expression in the lands of the Marche and Abruzzo: Verdicchio and Montepulciano.

From Serra dei Conti, in the Marche, to Roseto degli Abruzzi, the company has a vineyard area of 210 hectares all distributed along the Adriatic coast, between the hills and the sea: 185 km of rows and 10 vineyards, each with its vocation and its terroir. Numbers that tell of a continuous, almost spasmodic search for the "best" land and the most advanced agronomic and oenological techniques. From the 70s to today, the company has doubled the hectares of property and has renewed 85% of the old vines. It has invested in Verdicchio and Rosso Conero, it has recovered and valorised vines such as Pecorino and Lacrima di Morro d'Alba, always setting itself qualitatively high oenological objectives.

All the vineyards, from Verdicchio to Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, are grown organically .

Umani Ronchi today produces 3 million bottles a year and over 20 types of wine. It is present in over 60 countries , practically on all continents where it wins national and international awards and recognition.
