CASCINA CA' ROSSA is located among the splendid hills of Roero, an area adjacent to the Langhe and with a great wine-growing vocation. The cellar is located precisely in Canale d'Alba; was born at the end of the 60s with father Alfonso Ferrio who, with great sacrifices, purchased land and vineyards, a precursor (at the time) of modern, quality viticulture in the area. Today the winery is led by his son Angelo and his nephew Stefano and we can affirm that it is a company that stands out for its attention to the quality and winemaking tradition of the area. CASCINA CA' ROSSA employs a team of professionals with vast experience in the wine sector, who passionately follows every phase of production, from the vineyard to winemaking, to the refinement of the wine in wooden barrels, when necessary. The company produces red and white wines, namely the long-lived Roero docg based on Nebbiolo, in purity, and the excellent Arneis, a fragrant and intense white which represent the tradition and culture of the Roero area. Among the other representative wines of the cellar, the Barbera d'Alba DOCG stands out. CASCINA CA' ROSSA also stands out for its attention to the environment and sustainability. The company adopts agricultural practices that respect the ecosystem and uses advanced technologies to reduce the environmental impact of production, so much so that it has been certified with the Organic regime, both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Ca' Rossa also offers the possibility of visiting the cellar and taking part in guided tastings to discover the wines and history of the Roero area. CASCINA CA' ROSSA is a company that has been able to combine tradition and innovation, enhancing the wines of Roero and contributing to the promotion of the wine culture of the area.
