You can't talk about the winery without talking about the family. It is a story that begins at the beginning of the 20th century, in Serdiana, a land of farmers, olive groves and vineyards. Here, in 1906, Antonio, the patriarch, was born. It is he who begins to plant rows, to join vineyard to vineyard, to produce while seeking quality, with rigor.
His two sons, Franco and Giuseppe, inherit this passion from him and in turn share and pass it on, first to their wives Pina and Marianna, and then to their children. Today the third generation of the Argiolas is already working in the cellar: that of Antonio's grandchildren. Ultimately it's simple: harvest after harvest, from parents to children, the tradition is passed down. In the vineyard Argiolas is a pioneer of experimentation, famous for the creation of a vineyard with 560 biotypes of native Sardinian varieties . The vineyards extend from the hills of Parteolla to Sulcis, some of which are cultivated ungrafted and always respecting the sustainability of the territory , a real mission together with the quality factor. The quality is always extremely high , just think of the award-winning Turriga , an elegant red wine with great structure or the excellent Korem , all the result of the attention of a great winemaker like Mariano Murru. The result is genuine, typical, vibrant Mediterranean wines, full of energy and freshness, like a dip in the Sardinian sea.
