The vineyards of the Claudio Mariotto winery, scattered in various locations in the Tortonesi Hills for a total of 26 hectares, are located at approximately 300 meters above sea level and trained using the Guyot system, with plants that are over 50 years old. The Claudio Mariotto winery is a family-run artisan business located in Vho, on the hills a few kilometers from Tortona. The origins of the winery date back to 1920, founded by great-grandfather Bepi, it was managed by grandfather Salvatore, father Oreste and now by Claudio Mariotto, a brilliant and intelligent winemaker. In recent years Claudio has focused strongly and decisively on Barbera and Timorasso , creating wines of absolute value and quality, contributing to increasing the fame of the area.

His labels are now famous throughout Italy and also abroad, thanks to prizes and recognitions that attest to the validity of Mariotto's work, above all underlining the fact that he brought into vogue, together with Walter Massa, a territory that until a few years ago is oenologically unknown.
