The name of the company derives directly from its land of origin, a farm owned by the Iannoccone family for generations. "I Cacciagalli" is a young winery located in the Upper Caserta area and which produces extremely expressive wines of the territory, respecting nature and the artisanal and traditional work that takes place there. The company is managed by spouses Diana Iannaccone, a young agronomist, and Marco Basco, an expert in the world of wine, and represents their lifelong dream, namely to create quality local wines. Over the years, the experience gained here in the cultivation of many varieties of vines, hazelnuts, chestnuts and olive trees has become a precious tradition to be passed down. The ancient cellar of the Iannaccone family has been renovated taking into account the needs and times that nature requires. The vineyards surrounding the company are located on the slopes of the Roccamonfina volcano, which is no longer active and which has left extremely rich and mineral soil, fertile and ideal for vineyards. The territory is also crossed by the Volturno river, which provides other important nutrients to the surrounding lands. The result is immediately evident in the fresh and mineral wines that the company produces, whose bunches are ripened in the contrast between the hot, dry summer days and the mild, breezy nights. It is essential to remember that the company has embraced the biodynamic philosophy for the cultivation of the vine: the choice, therefore, to leave room for nature, in the creation of the personality of the wines of the cellar; this path has led the company to make sometimes drastic choices, eliminating the use of all synthetic chemical substances both in the vineyard and in the cellar. The use of terracotta amphorae for the vinification of the grapes is significant: in this way all the aromas are preserved unchanged during processing. The Caserta terroir is thus told by the wines born from the passion of Diana and Marco, labels with an intense and elegant character, an expression of love for their land.
