Founded in 1986, Feudi di San Gregorio is located on the green hills of Irpinia , in the municipality of Sorbo Serpico, the original nucleus and starting point of the winemaking adventure of one of the most important winemaking companies in southern Italy. Over the years, other lands in the municipalities of Tufo, Taurasi and Santa Paolina have been added to the 30 hectares of vineyards so as to reach a total of 300 hectares which enjoy the benefits of a land known for its vineyards since the time of Pliny . The name of Feudi di San Gregorio is now known for the production of wines from native grapes such as Greco di Tufo , Taurasi , Falanghina , but also Fiano ; these jewels testify to the commitment that Feudi has always shown in the recovery and protection of native vines and tradition in their land of origin as well as in the new vineyards of Vulture and Manduria, in the Taranto area. Attention to tradition, combined with the innovation of modernity, is also the basis of the architectural forms and spaces of the winery (the Japanese architect Hikaru Mori, one of the most appreciated and well-known professionals in his sector, also participated in this ambitious project ) which houses a large barrel cellar and which presents itself as a "place of meeting, discussion, knowledge, meditation, a laboratory of ideas and culture, a place of welcome and refreshment".
