The Laimburg winery is truly unique, founded in 1975 as a spin-off of the Laimburg Center for Agricultural and Forestry Experimentation; the estate is effectively owned by the Autonomous Province of Bolzano. Even more particular is the fact that it is a structure that is home to in-depth research and experiments in the viticultural and oenological field for Alto Adige, which is accompanied by the production of high quality wine. The vineyards are all owned, therefore it is not a cooperative winery with contributing members, and they are distributed "patchy" throughout the province of Bolzano, according to a precise project, aimed at describing the many nuances and the multiple peculiarities of such a diversified territory, such as that of Alto Adige. Consequently, there are many vines cultivated and just as many wines take shape in the Laimburg winery, which thinks of each label as an expression of its territory, managing to arouse amazement, from harvest to harvest, with wines that remain impressed for their finesse and elegance. There are approximately 45 hectares of vineyards owned, where all the most characteristic native grapes are found, alongside the most widespread "international" varieties, with protocols that respect the environment and the ecosystem, at altitudes ranging from 200 to 750 meters above sea level. of the sea. The production lines, from "Vini del Podere" to "Selezione Maniero", create labels that combine innovative winemaking methods with the most ancient traditional techniques. Another characterizing element is the wine aging room, entirely dug into the rock, where temperature and humidity remain naturally constant throughout the year. Here then is the production of wines that undoubtedly enter the Olympus of the most prestigious and representative productions of Alto Adige.
