A small, family-run agricultural company that immediately had clear ideas: to enhance the native Abruzzo vines, have the least possible impact on the environment and create healthy, clean wines that reflect the production area. This is why he immediately dedicated himself to organic practices, obtaining certification. The name of the company is inspired by a large Renaissance fresco located in the church of the town where the winery is located; we are in Loreto Aprutino, in the province of Pescara. There is certainly a sort of metaphor between the winemaking activity and the painting from which it takes its name and so, season after season, Torre dei Beati pursues the objective of expressing the highest level of quality with its wines, starting from the vines indigenous to the area. The vineyards are located in the hinterland of the Abruzzo hills, not far from the sea and there are around 20 hectares of vineyards, at an altitude between 250 and 300 meters above sea level, immersed in a microclimate characterized by alternating breezes marine daytime and cold nights, with soils composed mainly of clay and limestone. Local vines such as pecorino, trebbiano and montepulciano are grown in this environment. The artisanal work is carefully carried out in the vineyard and, subsequently, in the cellar: the bunches arrive to be selected again, after which they are processed using the most advanced oenological technologies, always applied respecting the most ancient traditions. The winery, founded in 1999 by Fausto Albanesi and Adriana Galasso, has grown over the years in terms of experience and, therefore, product quality; it has also expanded the range of labels offered, always respecting the concept of "minimal intervention in the processing phases" to leave ample space for nature. The labels have particularly evocative names: the Pecorino “Giocheremo con i Fiori”, the Trebbiano “Bianchi Grilli”, the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo “Mazzamurello” and “Cocciapazza”, passing through the Cerasuolo d'abruzzo “Rosae”, wines with the strong personality of the land of Abruzzo.
