The Le Casematte agricultural company was born in 2008 from the dream of its founder, the accountant Gianfranco Sabbatino. Today that dream is shared between two: the footballer Andrea Barzagli, passionate about vines and wines, "took to the field"...

This small and courageous company, which runs on its own legs with passion and determination, is the mirror of that "philosophy of doing" that distinguishes its founders; Gianfranco Sabbatino, from Messina, claims belonging to a land, Sicily, and to a healthy culture in the hope and ambition of being able to add a new piece to an active and qualified entrepreneurial fabric. The company, moreover, has a strong territorial identity, being located on the hills north of the city of Messina, in Faro Superiore, and embracing not only a project with a commercial vocation but a pre-existing history which is that of vines that have produced wine since ancient times. That history returns to the contemporary, carrying with it the signs of the centuries, but meeting the new needs of wine production.

Gianfranco and Andrea tell a story made of passion and love for the fruits of the vine, a story of men, work and respect for nature. The cellar is organically run .
