Col Vetoraz

Col Vetoraz is located on the top of the hill of the same name next to the "Mont" of Cartizze in S. Stefano di Valdobbiadene. We are on the highest point of Cartizze at almost 400 m above sea level: from here the gaze can recognize the entire area, delimited to the east by the locality Fol and to the west by the locality Sacol. The Miotto family settled on this hill in 1838, developing vine cultivation from the beginning (Prosecco Superiore and Cartizze Superiore). In 1993 Francesco Miotto, descendant of this family, together with Paolo De Bortoli and Loris Dell'Acqua created the current Col Vetoraz, creating a heterogeneous and stimulating working group. The passion and love for this land have stimulated culture and research, essential for the production of a high quality wine, as are the wines of Col Vetoraz.
