The Paltrinieri winery has a compelling history that dates back many generations; it all began in 1926, when Achille Paltrinieri, the town's esteemed and enterprising pharmaceutical chemist, built the first part of the cellar, which was then expanded and developed by his son Gianfranco. We are in the heart of Emilia Romagna, in the fertile province of Modena, precisely in Sorbara, where the Paltrinieri winery has always been involved in the production of Lambrusco di Sorbara: today there are 4 consecutive generations that take turns in management and production. The winery has grown and established itself as one of the most popular in the region, thanks to the dedication and passion of all family members. Over the years, the winery has continued to evolve and adopt modern technologies, while keeping tradition and craftsmanship intact. Today it is managed by Alberto Paltrinieri and his wife Barbara, who make use of the precious contribution of expert oenologists and agronomists to create quality labels with the aim of making wines that are respectful and representative of the territory. The fundamental operations of the Sorbarese winemaking tradition are interpreted with scruple and dedication, in order to create a range of exciting labels. The Lambrusco di Sorbara DOC “Radice” and the Spumante Lambrusco di Sorbara DOC “La Riserva” are undoubtedly worth mentioning. The history of the Paltrinieri winery is a story of dedication, passion and respect for the land and local traditions. The wines produced are the result of years of experience and a constant commitment to quality.
