This product is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Verdelho grapes, a white grape variety particularly widespread throughout Portugal, which on the island of Madeira achieves high quality results capable of surprising even the most experienced enthusiast. In fact, this madeira, despite the very long ageing, fifteen years, manages to keep intact the qualities of freshness that make it particularly pleasant to drink. The grapes are fermented in steel tanks directly in contact with the skins at a controlled temperature in order to guarantee the extraction of the substances. Fermentation is interrupted when the right sugar content is reached. In this phase the alcohol is added to the must and then moved on to the rest phase in wooden barrels.
