'Maharis' Syrah Sicilia DOC Feudo Maccari 2019

The Maharis Syrah Sicilia DOC is a red wine produced by Feudo Maccari , a company that offers a traditional production philosophy. To make this label, only Syrah grapes are vinified, a variety that has found the perfect conditions in this appellation to express itself in a fine and elegant way. The vineyards are located right inside the feud. Among the rows, the practices are carried out in the name of sustainability. After verifying that the bunches have reached full maturity, the company proceeds with a manual harvest. At the end of a maceration in contact with the skins, the fermentation takes place in steel tanks for about 20 days. Maharis Syrah Sicilia DOC ages for 16 months in oak barrels and for another year in the bottle. Perfect right from the start, this red wine boasts excellent potential for acquiring even more complex aromas, if carefully stored even for 2-4 years in the cellar.
