Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect glass for light and medium-structured red wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

The Almond Dolcetto d'Alba DOC Elvio Cogno was born in Piedmont, in the municipality of La Morra; we are in the heart of the Langhe. Since 1936, the Cogno family has been producing various organic wines typical of the Piedmont area with great skill, including the Almond Dolcetto d'Alba Doc Elvio Cogno , a truly exciting, award-winning wine that will satisfy even the most demanding palates. The climate of the Langhe is unique in its kind and certainly contributes to giving incomparable characteristics to this wine: the protective effect of the Alpine chain and the influence of mild and humid currents coming from the Ligurian Sea, in fact, contribute to determining a climatic context unique. A long fermentation results in a balanced, rich but not excessive wine, with a strong classic imprint linked to tradition. The Dolcetto grapes used make it possible to obtain a ruby red wine characterized by notes of grape must and wild berries. In the mouth, it is elegant, full and dry with an intense and persistent finish.
