The Marsala Superiore Sweet DOC proposed by Vito Curatolo Arini is a wine able to tell, like few others, the essence of Sicily. The historic Sicilian company, founded at the end of the 19th century, is precisely this label which is perhaps its flagship. Born from the combination of three native grapes such as Grillo, Catarratto and Inzolia, the product follows the dictates of organic viticulture. The grapes from which it is developed can grow in the warm Mediterranean climate and on soil with a good sandy content. The manual harvest involves the selection of only the best bunches at the end of August, with cold pressing of the berries. The must ferments and then ages for 5 years in oak barrels, developing all its most particular organoleptic properties. Marsala Superiore Sweet DOC is sweet, but it is never cloying and has an important structure, as usual in Sicilian liqueur wines. A label that is ideal for ending an informal dinner with friends in style.
