The Marsannay Rouge produced by Louis Latour is an intense red wine with character, which perfectly represents the Burgundy area. With hectares of Pinot Noir vineyards that cross the Côte de Beaune to reach the Côte de Nuits, the Maison certainly aspires to the role of the main winery in the region, thanks to a passion for its vineyards and a production method that is extremely respectful of the raw material and result oriented. Marsannay Rouge embodies all the qualities of the great Burgundy reds, with a remarkable body and structure that coexist with a finesse, typical of Pinot Noir, which makes it ideal for special occasions as well. This red spends a minimum of twelve months refining in oak barrels to seal all its scents and allow the wine to develop softness and finesse, which is remarkable in the mouth. Intense and very persistent, it is excellent if drunk immediately, but gives much more intense sensations if you decide to let it rest in the cellar, where it can evolve well even for many years.
