'Matan' Alto Adige/Südtirol DOC Pinot Nero Riserva PFITSCHER 2015

The Alto Adige Pinot Nero DOC Riserva Matan is an excellent red that has received various awards from national and international critics. This red is one of the most interesting proposals of the prestigious Pfitscher South Tyrolean winery, an interesting reality known for the production of quality wines that well interpret the territory. A label resulting from the vinification of 100% Pinot Noir grapes, the fruit of vines that enjoy a strong temperature difference between day and night. The plants are grown at a height of between 500 meters and 700 meters above sea level. The Alto Adige Pinot Nero DOC Riserva Matan takes shape from a careful harvest that selects only the best grapes, at the end of which the bunches are taken to the cellar where they are first subjected to fermentation, then to a maturation in wood ranging from 12 to 15 months, after which the wine is still aged in glass for a few months. The finished product is a red with excellent longevity. An elegant and aromatic label, for a robust and well-structured wine.
