Magno Megonio from the prestigious Calabrian Librandi winery is an important red wine, which takes its name from the famous Roman centurion who was the first to leave written traces on the viticulture of the Val di Neto. A terroir wine made from the vinification of pure Magliocco grapes, a very ancient native variety, which well represents the winemaking tradition of Calabria. Magno Megonio takes shape from grapes harvested in the first days of October which, once in the cellar, are followed by fermentation with maceration in steel, after which the wine is aged for 16 months in Allier barriques, after which it is bottled. The result is a fine red, which stands out for its strong personality, great persistence and good longevity. Thanks to its beautiful evolution it can rest in the cellar for several years. A rich, warm, balanced wine with a full sip. A thick label that has received various national and international awards, including that of the AIS Vitae Guide which defined it as an excellent wine.
