Merlot Bottega Vinai Trentino DOC is a red wine made by the Cavit winery. It is obtained from the vinification of only grapes of the international Merlot variety. The vineyards are located in the hilly areas of Vallagarina, where they enjoy optimal sun exposure. The microclimate, characterized by strong temperature variations between day and night, ensures the vines have the ideal conditions for a luxuriant development right up to the harvest. The ripening of the bunches is followed by the harvest with manual sorting. In the cellar, the grapes are left to ferment in modern thermo-conditioned stainless steel tanks. For refinement, the company focuses on fine French oak barrels, where the wine ages for a year and two months.
