'Molin' Lugana DOC Cà Maiol 2021

Among the most interesting expressions of viticulture on Lake Garda, the Molin Lugana DOC produced by Ca' Maiol is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Turbiana grapes, a local variant of the Trebbiano vine. The name pays homage to the origin of the fruits, expertly cultivated and carefully selected from the longest-lived vines of the Molino vineyard. The production philosophy of the Desenzano del Garda winery aims to preserve as much as possible the integrity of the grapes, rigorously harvested by hand, with the aim of presenting an unforgettable Lugana. This is possible thanks to a careful vinification without passages in wood, which takes place after a two-day cryomaceration in contact with the skins at a low temperature. This particular procedure allows Molin Lugana DOC to have an important structure and elegant aromas. Ideal for a convivial lunch or dinner and fish dishes, this fragrant and fresh white wine is perfect to be enjoyed after bottling.
