Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

The Barbera d'Asti DOCG Montebruna red wine from the Piedmontese winery Braida is the result of the vinification of Barbera red berried grapes, fruit of the vines planted in the Rocchetta Tanaro countryside. The first written testimonies on the Barbera vine date back to the end of the sixteenth century, while for its specialization process it will be necessary to wait until 1800, when it was imposed as the dominant variety. The Barbera d'Asti DOCG Montebruna wine is the product of a vinification in steel and a maturation lasting about 12 months in large oak barrels. This red wine is balanced, persistent, harmonious and is characterized by its full taste and excellent drinkability. Perfect to accompany cheeses and cured meats, it is also excellent to be sipped with first courses based on pasta and second courses based on red meat and white meat. Able to adapt to the most diverse occasions, Montebruna wine is ideal to be served during an elegant dinner.
