Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect glass for light and medium-structured red wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description
Montefalco Rosso is an important red wine produced by the famous Arnaldo Caprai winery. It is obtained from an interesting regional blend of 70% Sangiovese and the remaining 30% from equal parts of Merlot and Sagrantino, an autochthonous vine that best represents the characteristics of this particular wine-growing region, Umbria. Thanks to the union with two international vines, capable of giving life to structured but round red wines, the rough Sagrantino is softened by its strongly tannic notes. The Arnaldo Caprai winery was the first to enhance and decree the rightful success of Sagrantino, this important autochthonous vine. That's why the wine is aged for at least a year in large oak barrels and four months in the bottle, so as to smooth out its natural angularity and develop all its best scents. The result is a very balanced wine, rightly tannic, intense, full-bodied, perfect to accompany a dinner with friends. Montefalco Rosso also has the potential to be aged for at least five years. if properly stored.
