'Montegrilli' Langhe DOC Nebbiolo Elvio Cogno 2021

Montegrilli Langhe DOC Nebbiolo is an elegant red produced by Elvio Cogno , a company that interprets Piedmontese viticulture in a qualitative and innovative way. This intense wine is obtained from the vinification of only Nebbiolo grapes. The vineyards rise about 420 meters above sea level and are cultivated with a "minimalist" approach, which limits human intervention. The harvest takes place between September and October and involves a selection of the best grapes. Once they arrive in the cellar, they undergo a first fermentation in steel at a strictly controlled temperature. The subsequent refinement is divided into two phases. At first, the wine rests for 8 months in steel containers, to then seal all its scents in the 6 months following bottling and before being put on the market. Montegrilli Langhe DOC Nebbiolo can be savored immediately, but also after 4-5 years of aging in the cellar.
